Playing the Waiting Game

Well, Betina and I are still in the US. We are hopefully leaving later this week, but we are still waiting for that email. We decided to come back to North Carolina, after two weeks in Memphis, so we can spend some more time with Betina's mom and my oldest step daughter, Bailey. We've been having a great time since we've come back, but we are ready to get our flight info and head over to the sandbox. Everyone keep your fingers crossed and hopefully we'll be on our way soon.

While we were on Memphis we made a trip to go see the ducks at the Peabody Hotel and check out the Memphis Zoo, which was a great time. Since coming back to North Carolina, we have been keeping ourselves busy. We hiked up Linville Falls, something I have been wanting to do for a while now. The exercise was great and the views were amazing. We also made a trip to a local apple orchard and had some awesome local food and snacks while listening to some mountain music. The weather has been a bit rainy as of late but its bringing around some cooler weather, so I don't mind it too much.

All in all, things haven't really been overly exciting, but that isn't necessary a bad thing. Hopefully the email shows up one of the next few mornings and we are on our way soon!
