Final Countdown!

Since my last post, big things have happened. We finally got our tickets and we will be flying out tomorrow afternoon to JFK in NYC to catch a direct flight to Abu Dhabi. We decided to drive back down to Tampa to from North Carolina, and we were able to see my step kids and family one last time. We also got to see our dogs, who had been staying with my mother. It has been a long journey with a lot of highs and lows, but it has all been worth it. Tomorrow all of our patience pays off and we get to begin the next chapter of our lives. The next time you hear from me will be from the sandbox!
